what does 'mobile' pilates mean?
We are a mobile Pilates studio. In other words, we are a ‘mini’ Pilates studio located in a custom built trailer that drives directly to you. This means that there is no singular ‘location’ of Synergy Pilates Nashville, we are where you are! If your home does not allow space for the mobile studio, alternative locations can be discussed, like a park!

Great question! As a mobile pilates studio, it's crucial that you are able to meet the parking and travel requirements and are aware of the cancellation policy. Please visit the Studio Policies section of the FAQ to be in the know.
You can book classes directly through our website or on the MindBody mobile app. Regular classes must be booked at least 12 hours in advance. For special occasion or bachelorette party requests, booking inquiries must be made through the contact section on our main menu.
You don’t need to do much to prepare for your first class! Just make sure that you have filled out all the required forms.
Grip (Pilates) socks are REQUIRED for reformer sessions. If you do not have any, we recommend purchasing some ahead of time. There are several options for purchasing both mens and womens socks in the mobile studio before your session.
We recommend bringing water and wearing comfortable athletic clothing. During your first session, you can expect an overview of the Pilates reformer, basic Pilates principles, and a great workout!

We offer a range of classes, including private and group mat Pilates and private or couple reformer Pilates. There are 4 different types of reformer classes offered: Condition, Recover, Strength, and Tone, as well as specialized classes geared towards certain activities such as golf. Programming for special events and bachelorette parties is also available upon request. All classes are personalized to the client's needs. Check our schedule for class descriptions and times.
Our Reformer classes are private or semi-private (2). Mat classes can be anywhere from 1-15+ participants as long as space allows. Mat classes with more than 15 participants must provide their own mats.

Yes, we offer specialized programs for prenatal and postnatal clients. These classes are designed to support your body through pregnancy and recovery. Each client will be evaluated on a class by class basis to customize programming.
Yes, we offer programming for special events on a request basis. We also offer programming for bachelorette parties. Please see our programs tab for Bachelorette Programming and more information.
Synergy Pilates Nashville offers specialty programming for men, golfers, and seniors. Remember, for private sessions, classes are all custom to the client, meaning the specializations are endless!
At Synergy Pilates Nashville, every class is customized to the client, the client’s needs, and the client’s abilities. Pilates supports injury recovery by building core strength, improving posture, and promoting proper movement patterns, which reduce strain on injured areas. Its low-impact, customizable exercises are safe and can be tailored to various injuries, such as back pain, knee issues, or shoulder strains. The Parking and Travel Policy outlines the requirements for Synergy Pilates Nashville’s mobile studio. Due to the size of the trailer (18 ft long x 8.5 feet wide), ample space is necessary to park and provide classes. Driveway or street parking is required. If this space is not available, Carly can work with the client to come up with an alternative solution.
Yes, you can cancel a class up to 12 hours in advance without penalty. Cancellations made with less than 12 hour notice will result in a $35 charge. For memberships and class packages, you will not lose a session. Failure to show up for a scheduled session without prior notice (no-show) will also result in a $45 charge and a loss of session for class packages and memberships. We understand that emergencies happen. In the case of an emergency, please contact Carly as soon as possible to discuss the situation. Leniency may be discussed in certain situations.
Every new client is required to submit a client intake form prior to their first session. This gives the instructor an idea of any injuries and limitations as well as client goals and expectations. All client intake forms will remain confidential.

As often as you’d like! While some may recommend 3-5 times a week, we say whatever feels good for your body! We find that combining Pilates with other forms of exercise such as walking, running, and weightlifting makes me feel the best, but everybody is different. Unlike weightlifting, Pilates is low impact, meaning it is perfectly safe to do several days in a row or even up to 5-6 days a week. No matter what exercise you participate in during the week, we always recommend allowing your body 1-2 rest days. your own custom content to give more information.
